Shanxi Coal Mining Machinery's "Intelligent High-End Coal Mining Equipment Project" Enters Trial Production Phase

The "Intelligent High-End Coal Mining Equipment Project" initiated by Shanxi Coal Mining Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has entered the trial production phase. On February 21, the company—located in the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone—conducted successful trial production tests, signaling that the project is almost ready for full-scale operations.

This project is a cornerstone of Shanxi Province's key initiatives for 2025, with a total planned investment of 2.1 billion yuan, including 1.93 billion yuan in fixed assets. Upon reaching full production capacity, it is anticipated to generate an annual output value of 3 billion yuan and contribute 215.85 million yuan in annual tax revenue.

The project spans across 379 acres, encompassing a total construction area of approximately 165,900 square meters. The first phase comprises welding and assembly workshops, transmission workshops, round-link chain workshops, remanufacturing workshops, office buildings, dormitories, utility support facilities, and guard stations, covering a total area of 119,466 square meters. The second phase will add belt conveyor workshops, new product workshops, a comprehensive building, additional utility support facilities, and guard stations, expanding the total area to 46,442 square meters more.

During the trial production phase, company executives and engineers meticulously inspected the production line equipment. Inside the assembly workshop, yellow robotic arms moved with precision, unmanned transport vehicles navigated the floor, and welding sparks flew as the team diligently prepared for the official launch.
